SEMINAR ON ROUTING PROTOCOLS :Routing protocols specifies how the routers are communicate with each other.Routing protocols send and receive the packets to and from the routers.Packets contains routing information.Routing protocols are software that allows the routers to perform and finds best path to reach destination.Routing protocols are used by the internet protocol(IP) suite. mainly three types of routing protocols are there.They are distance-vector(RIP,IGRP), link-state(OSPF,EGP and BGP) and hybrid(IS-IS,EIGRP) routing.This paper gives full description on how these routing protocols are configured and performed.
