TRANSIENT STABILITY ASSESSMENT USING NEURAL NETWORKS

SEMINAR ON TRANSIENT STABILITY ASSESSMENT USING NEURAL NETWORKS : This article discusses the use of artificial neural networks for transient assessment of the stability of the power system. Backpropagation technique is used to train neural networks. The use of artificial neural networks for calculating the critical clearing time and the transient energy margin for a machine infinite bus system is shown. In our studies, we found enthusiastic ideas here proposed for a single machine is a pioneer in extending the same analysis, multi-machine stability.
