DATA SECURITY IN WIRELESS NETWORKS

SEMINAR ON DATA SECURITY IN WIRELESS NETWORKS : Wireless Wide Area Networks (WAN) is a popular method for data wireless Internet access. A major concern for many companies Wireless WAN data security and how to protect data transmitted over the wireless networks.
There are many features of these wireless networks, which provide users and data security. This document provides security features for CDPD, CDMA and GPRS networks, as well as an introduction to virtual private networks (VPN) and how these applications can improve public safety information in wireless networks.
For each of the technologies presented in this paper, a short an overview of the wireless network is given, followed by a discussion of each social network characteristics that contribute to overall network security.
